Known as The Copper Doctor, Brian is a specialist in copper and brass restoration with a hands on approach rooted in care and detail. After a successful career in communications, he discovered his passion for metal restoration five years ago while revitalising his daughter’s shopfront.

Since then, Brian has become known for restoring multiple architectural elements such as shopfronts, building features, handrails, front doors, sculptures, decorative pieces, and distillery stills - all meticulously treated by hand, without chemicals. His work spans Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney and Brisbane. Additionally, exploring opportunities to restore heritage surfaces in Hobart and Launceston, expanding his focuses on bringing historic surfaces back to life while preserving their character and legacy.

Originally from Geelong, Paul made an unexpected yet seamless transition from the culinary world to metal restoration. A former Michelin-star chef, he now applies the same precision, patience, and artistry to restoring vintage shopfronts alongside Brian.

Paul’s attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship breathe new life into tarnished facades and architectural features. His work contributes to preserving the unique charm of historic buildings while enhancing their visual appeal across Victoria and beyond.
